COVID-19 Update
Vision Hospital Group is constantly evolving its response to the COVID-19 pandemic. We are committed to keeping our patients, their families and carers, and our staff safe.
Guided by our In Safe Hands program, our day surgeries have continued to observe strict infection control measures.
In addition to our routine measures for infection prevention, we are taking extra precautions to keep you as safe as possible. These include:
- asking all patients and carers to wear a surgical mask at all times, unless directed by staff to remove it as part of their treatment
- asking all patients and carers to declare if they have any symptoms or have been exposed to COVID-19 in the past 7 days
- Asking all patients to provide information on whether they have had COVID in order to best manage their surgery.
Please note: Vision Hospital Group does not admit any known COVID-19 patients at any of our day hospitals.
We take the above measures to ensure we are doing everything we can to protect our patients, their carers, our staff and doctors. We hope you will be respectful and understanding of these actions when visiting our facilities.
Please contact us prior to your admission date if you are unwell, or reside with someone who is unwell.
Each of our sites undertakes regular cleaning of all surfaces, with ample supplies of hand sanitiser for staff and visitors.
We appreciate your assistance in ensuring we are able to safely meet the needs of our patients. As always, we will keep you informed of any further developments.
