Boroondara Day Surgery is an accredited facility fully equipped for ophthalmic procedures. We can accommodate the following procedures. However, whether they are currently available at our centre depends on the surgeons operating there.
Boroondara Day Surgery is located in Hawthorn, close to cafes, parks and the Yarra River. It is easily accessible by tram, with ample street parking.
DO NOT DRIVE YOURSELF TO YOUR APPOINTMENT. Please arrange for a responsible person to accompany you home after your surgery. Certain types of anaesthesia may cause drowsiness and impair your mental alertness. You will not be allowed to drive home following your procedure.
Public transport options include tram stops for routes 48 (7-minute walk), 75 (15-minute walk) and 109 (15-minute walk). Patients will require assistance getting home following their procedure. If you are using public transport, please arrange for someone to accompany you home.
Our facility is on the ground level, with access for people with limited mobility and wheelchairs.
