Whitehorse Day Surgery provides a variety of surgical procedures that do not require an overnight stay.
Conveniently located in Box Hill, Melbourne, our day hospital is a specialty provider of ophthalmic procedures and vision correction. These include retinal surgery, cataract and laser cataract surgery, glaucoma management, pterygium surgery and oculoplastics (reconstructive surgery).
Our doctors have access to the latest ophthalmic technology to support cutting-edge surgical techniques. This, combined with the extensive experience of our doctors, nurses and administrators, ensures we deliver best-practice patient care across all day hospital services.
Our clinic is conveniently located in the heart of Box Hill, Melbourne. We are located directly in front of Whitehorse Plaza, where parking is available in the shopping centre car parks. There is also a parking bay at the front of the building to enable patients to be dropped off and picked up.
PLEASE ARRANGE FOR A RESPONSIBLE PERSON TO ACCOMPANY YOU HOME AFTER YOUR SURGERY. Certain types of anaesthesia may cause drowsiness and impair your mental alertness. You will not be allowed to drive home.
