Vision Eye Institute, Australia’s largest private ophthalmology provider and operator of eleven day surgeries through Vision Hospital Group, announced today a change in its leadership: James Thiedeman has stepped down from the position of Chief Executive Officer after more than five and a half successful years at the helm.
Simultaneously, Vision Eye Institute is thrilled to announce the appointment of Amanda Cranage, a long-standing member of the organisation, to the CEO role, effective immediately.
Mr Thiedeman’s departure marks the end of a transformative era for Vision Eye Institute. Under his guidance, the company has achieved remarkable growth, expanded its market reach and solidified its position as a leading player in the industry – despite the challenges of a global pandemic, increased healthcare costs and workforce shortages. Mr Thiedeman says it had been a privilege leading Vision Eye Institute, an organisation that transforms the lives of patients every day.
